Charity Event
1st Annual Charity Car Wash
On August 7th, 2009, BTS
staff and volunteers held the first ever Charity Car Wash in support of the
Reena Foundation.
The Reena Foundation has been serving
the community since 1973; supporting those individuals and families with
developmental disabilities into the mainstream of society.
BTS has been in partnership with The
Reena Foundation, transporting their clients for over 15 years. We support
their cause and admire their dedication to their clients’ needs. We firmly
believe every person should have equal access to opportunities. Both Reena and
BTS are dedicated to removing barriers for these individuals so that they can
life a proactive lifestyle.
The Event
BTS staff, supervisors and management
supported the cause by washing cars, selling food and beverages. Car wash
customers consisted of both pre paid customers and community cars just stopping
in for a clean wash and a warm lunch. To our excitement, the car wash was a
great success, and all funds raised where matched by BTS.
We look forward to our next car wash in
early Spring of 2010.
